I created Active & Ageless over 50s health club, as I believe there is a need to provide people with age adjusted health & fitness strategies to lead a better quality of life. At our club, you receive specialist trainers, as well as the appropriate equipment. In short, if we look after our bodies at any age, our lives can be so much more fulfilling and enjoyable.
With a background in accounting, I transitioned in health & fitness to follow my calling. Having once been less active, I understand the challenges and obstacles to embark on a fitness journey. I wholeheartedly believe that exercise has the power to transform lives. That is why I am committed to providing unwavering support and motivation.
I’ve been involved in sports for as long as I can remember. With qualifications in Exercise Science and Training across different sports, I have a solid grasp and real love for well-organised exercise programs.
Over 10 years of experience helping people build strength, improve fitness, and feel more confident through supportive, structured training designed for all abilities.

Mum of 3 boys and blessed to have been in the fitness industry for the last 10+ years. I have spent most of that time in a commercial style gym; focussing on managing, group fitness and personal training. I am also involved with various sporting teams/clubs. As my children get older I find myself drawn to focusing more on the clients and working with people to achieve their specific goals. I am passionate about longevity, using lifestyle, diet and exercise to help people live better for longer. I am excited to use my skill set and experience around weight training, goals setting and to make fitness fun.
Andrew Dao has a Masters of Physiotherapy and Bachelors of Exercise Physiology from University of Sydney. He’s been in the health industry for over 5 years, treating clients with all different injuries and fitness backgrounds. He has a passion for helping mums and dads rediscover their physical identity, and supporting retirees and seniors who are motivated to maintain strength and independence. This is done through conducting a thorough assessment with the client then developing an individualised treatment plan with them. His treatment uses a combination of hands-on treatment (massage, dry needling, cupping), effective exercise and personalised advice for long-term management.

My journey in the health and fitness space started with my own transformation, when I lost over 50 kilos through healthy eating, lifestyle changes, and regular exercise—an experience that inspired me to become a personal trainer and coach. I wanted to understand the power of movement and help others feel confident stepping into fitness.
One of the things I have learnt throughout my time in the fitness industry, is that exercising the body is essential to help exercise the mind. We are all unique in our own special way and because of this, there is not a ‘one size fits all’ approach. I take extreme pride in my work and have a special interest in guiding people through their fitness journey to help improve their mental health. Connecting with individuals on an emotional level and achieving personal goals is something I have taken great pride in over the last 20 years in the industry.

A proud mum of six and former New Zealand squash representative, T is passionate about helping people improve their health, fitness, and confidence. These days, she also competes in lawn bowls at a state level. “If you do not believe in yourself, no one will do it for you.”
With over 7 years of experience in support work and working with people of all abilities and fitness levels, she believes exercise should always be enjoyable, achievable and tailored to the individual. She’s especially passionate about helping people over 50 stay active, build strength, improve mobility and feel confident in everyday life. She’s really excited to be part of the Active & Ageless team and to support you on your fitness journey!
