Strength/mobility (sculpt n stretch)
- Improving the body's muscular strength whilst incorporating dynamic movements to increase mobility and improve joint range of motion. Get your body to move better and feel better.
Flexibility/mobility (stretch n revitalise)
- A yoga style class which primarily focusses on easing muscle stiffness and improving one's overall flexibility. This also improves joint range of motion and increases body awareness as well as improving your core strength.
- A variety of functional movements targeting balance, stability and core movements. - This is a foundational style class that comprises the most basic of exercises.
Cardio/mobility (sweat n stretch)
- A combination class to burn fat and improve heart health using cardio equipment and dynamic mobility movements to improve joint range of motion. Increase your body awareness and cardio-vascular health simultaneously.
Improving the body's overall strength whilst incorporating functional movements to increase mobility and improve joint range of motion. Do this class if you would like to lose weight and improve your body toning, increase total body strength, coordination and reduce pain.
Flexibility/ mobility (stretch n revitalise)
This session focuses on easing muscle stiffness and improving one’s overall flexibility and mobility. The active and ageless signature flexibility & mobility class is a yoga style class which is primarily designed to improve the way you move by increasing your joint range of motion, increasing total body awareness, reducing pain and improving your overall core strength. In this class we use a variety of equipment such as foam rollers, sticks and stretch straps.
This is a foundational style class that comprises the most basic of exercises. It is a great senior’s class and for those who are just getting started with their fitness journey. This is our entry level class that uses a variety of functional movements targeting overall strength improvements as well as balance, stability and core exercises.
A challenging and upbeat circuit that provides you with a combination of cardio and strength-based activities. The class targets improving heart health, total body strength (including core) whilst improving your joint range of motion. Increase your body awareness, strength and cardi-vascular health simultaneously.
Our BoxCore signature class focuses on all aspects of boxing such as basic combinations and technique, through to improving the way you move, burning fat, improving coordination (boxing is brain training at it’s finest!) and strengthening your core.
Heath and the team at Active & Ageless have created a fun and friendly environment where everyone can feel comfortable working out no matter what their level of fitness may be.The team are incredibly knowledgeable and provide plenty of advice to make sure you're using the right technique to avoid any injuries.The classes have plenty of variety within the structure to keep it fun and fresh and if you're finding one of the exercises a bit too difficult...or too easy...they'll give you an alternative option to suit your needs and fitness level.It's fantastic to walk into a gym where the team know your name and what you need instead of just scanning a card and being another unknown face and number on their books.
My husband and I are delighted with our membership of this gym. Being of a more mature age we were comprehensively assessed and then a suitable programme written for us. We are enjoying our sessions so much we are coming 3 days a week.
Really enjoying my sessions. Super friendly and helpful staff, relaxed atmosphere, state of the art equipment and best of all, noone checking themselves out in the mirrors or hogging machines. Plus being classes only adds to the incentive to get along. Highly recommend.
Active and Ageless is a fantastic gym which has state of the art strength equipment and excellent cardio machines, but even more importantly trainers that develop excellent programs for you and encourage you all the way. I cannot recommend them more highly .
Before coming to this gym I couldn't walk down stairs straight, I went down sideways one step at the moment. I constantly had sore knees, now after 3 months I'm so flexible I can do also everything.Where can you get a personal trainer for $49.00 because this is what your getting.The trainers are always ready willing and able to help. Awesome trainers, awesome equipment. Awesome place, would highly recommend it to anyone.
After being lazy for so many years, I made the commitment to exercise regularly. Active & Ageless is the perfect gym for me. All the trainers are lovely and accessible and in 5 months I have become much fitter and stronger. Highly recommend Heath and his team!
Love going. I’ve gone from ‘definitely NOT a gym person’ to going several times a week. My flexibility and energy level has improved and the increased muscle strength has helped a lot with my long standing knee and back problems. Trainers friendly and always making sure the exercises are tailored to my specific needs. The rest of the clients are great and overall it’s an enjoyable experience with great long term benefits .
Having looked around my area for a gym that suited my needs, Active & Ageless came along at just the right time. I love the relaxed atmosphere and have enjoyed every one of my sessions, earlier on with Heath who was excellent and now with Ariel who is exceptional and such fun! I would recommend Active & Ageless to anyone looking for gym that will create a program tailor made just for you.
